The Deeper Reality
We are spirits living through a temporary human experience.
This body is dust and breath for a moment, but the soul is the real battleground. The enemy is not ultimately after flesh, appearance, comfort, or possessions. He is after your soul, your worship, your peace, your identity, and your connection to God. That is why so many people become consumed with the physical realm, because distraction is one of his greatest weapons. If he can keep your eyes fixed only on what is seen, he can keep you blind to what is eternal.
When someone asked if yoga was spiritual, I immediately pictured a rock waterfall with beautiful purple flowers rising through the mist. It felt like a glimpse beyond the surface, a reminder that there is more to life than what we can touch and measure.
We spend so much time focused on our looks, our bodies, our money, our image, and our possessions, but those things are only the outer layer. They are not the destination. They are only the beginning of the journey. Beneath all of it is the deeper reality that we were made for communion with God, for spiritual sight, for inner transformation, and for eternal life. The physical world is real, but it is not ultimate. The spirit realm is where the deepest truths are found, and until a person awakens to that, they can spend their whole life polishing the temporary while neglecting the eternal.
